2006 Squad Men's Team Women's Team 2005 Squad Men's Team BBAXN All Stars (Mens) was formed in October 2005 following an invitation from the director of tournaments (Basketball Association of Singapore ("BAS") to BBAXN, to enter a team into their annual invitational 7-11 tournament. Following the invitation from the BAS, BBAXN appointed Mr Mike Neo (MATADOR Basketball Club) and Mr Shane O'Mahoney (Iguanna Basketball Club) to mange team selection, strategy, logistics and coaching. The BBAXN All Stars Team consists of players who participate in BBAXN Midweek or Saturday Men's League and are funded by BBAXN. Women's Team Following the launch of the BBAXN Women's League in October 2005 - it was always the intention for BBAXN to create a women's All Stars team in 2006 - however the team was put together at short notice at the request of the Basketball Association of Singapore to take the final place in their 7-11 Women's Invitational Tournament. The BBAXN All Stars Team consists of players who participate in BBAXN Saturday Women's League. Both the BBAXN All Stars Men's and Women's Team are open to play in local tournaments, regional tournaments and against other amateur teams visiting or passing through Singapore, BBAXN can arrange (for all games held in Singapore), indoor court booking and 4 qualified BAS referees.
