BBAXN is proud to announce that Singapore Sports Council ("SSC") and Singapore Pools has committed on the 20th July 2005, to fully endorse BBAXN's professionally organized amateur basketball leagues. This endorsement via the SSC's Sports Partnership Promotion Program, comes on the back of a successful launch of BBAXN's inaugural season with 12 teams participating in two leagues; both leagues are administrated via BBAXN's interactive website. Commenting on the endorsement director Lee Taylor stated:

"The Singapore Sports Council's endorsement of BBAXN leagues is a huge vote of confidence for the management team at BBAXN - with the Sports Council as our working partner we are sure more organized amateur basketball leagues can be established in the coming months benefiting grass-roots basketball in Singapore. BBAXN hopes to increase teams under management from its current 12 teams to over 50 over the next 12 months".

Interest in BBAXN amongst the amateur basketball community is growing rapidly, this is demonstrated by the number of players (from many different nationalities) who have registered themselves on BBAXN's website highlighting that they are available to play for a BBAXN league team, over 150 individuals registered in less than 4 months in addition the 120 player already playing ball with BBAXN.

BBAXN brings together on different dates throughout the year, Singapore's "basketball orphans" (players without teams) via it's revolutionary OPEN BALL sessions held at the Basketball Association of Singapore Courts, with the sole purpose to create more basketball teams in Singapore. To date BBAXN has already created four active and well organized teams. Next OPEN BALL session is being planned for September.

BBAXN will soon be launching a marketing campaign to attract more teams to join the SEASON 2 commencing in October for both it's Saturday and Midweek League.

BBAXN leagues are supported and recognized by the Basketball Association of Singapore whom officiate each and every BBAXN league game.
