Following the OPEN BALL session that took place on June 4th 2005 attended by 46 players which resulted in the creation of 4 new basketball teams, BBAXN will continue its basketball revolution by launching our second MEN'S OPEN BALL SESSION on Sunday 11th September 2005 from 1500 to 1700 at the superb indoor courts located at the Basketball Association Of Singapore.

LOCATION: 601 Aljunied Crescent #01-04 Singapore 389862 (Beside Geylang Swimming Complex)

PURPOSE: To bring together 46 basketball players who want to play regular basketball for a team that will join BBAXN League in either the Midweek League Season 2 or the Saturday Afternoon League Season 2. If you are not interested to join a team to play in either of these leagues you should NOT register.

OPPORTUNITY FOR PLAYERS:Unique chance to join a new basketball team playing in a new league in an environment which positively encourages team spirit.

COST: An admin fee of SGD13 per person (for the 2 hour open ball session) will be payable by each player on the 11th September 2005 upon arrival

LIMITED PLACES: FFirst come first served we only have 48 places available (from over 100 interested players)

Existing BBAXN Players: If you are playing Midweek and also wish to play on Saturday please put your name forward likewise if you are playing on Saturday and also wish to play Midweek please put your name forward.

AGE LIMIT: You must be over 16 years of age - BBAXN will be launching soon our JUNIOR Leagues to cater for the younger enthusiasts.

BRIEFING: will take place at 1430 on 11th September - all players to arrive by 1430

DRESS CODE: Proper sports attire and sports shoes

FORMAT:

• 6 teams will be created (according to playing preferences -Midweek Vs Saturday) from 48 players playing on two courts 8 players per team
• Each team will play two games of 35 mins each in duration:- objective of the session is to enjoy playing ball and meet like minded individuals keen on playing regular basketball.
• 1 BAS Referee will manage each game

The Captain of each team can consider recruiting the players to enter a team into the BBAXN league.

CAPTAIN: If you are interested to become a captain to manage a team in the league (no experience necessary) please let us know
