On Sunday April 9th Champions Globe Ballers Basketball Club (Midweek League Champions) will tip off against rivals Iguanas Basketball Club (Saturday League Champions) at the Basketball Association of Singapore Court - all spectators are welcome especially BBAXN Junior Open Ballers.

This match will showcase the best amateur players in Singapore sparring against each other for the 1NiteStand CHAMPIONS Cup. Last seasons Champions Cup between these two international sides ended 67-63 in favour of the Iguanas.

BBAXN currently manages 5 junior basketball teams at different age levels for both boys and girls competing in a weekend league.
BBAXN is looking to create more junior basketball teams ready for the new basketball season commencing in May 2006 for the following age groups U10, 12, 14 or 16

Work is in progress to transform the popular Sunday morning open ball sessions into structured training programs lasting for 10 weeks. BAS-BBAXN Workshop

On Thursday 30th March, BBAXN together with the referee committee of the Basketball Association of Singapore organized a working session to discuss recent developments in the basketball laws and also to provide clarification as to how the laws should be interpreted. The session was extremely lively especially during the Q&A, with team officials taking the opportunity to exchange dialogue with the officials. A good cross section of team representatives were present.
