****BBAXN Awards Night****
BBAXN held its first Awards night on Wednesday 31st May 2006 at Harry?s Bar-Boat Quay. The event was hosted by the Sports Operation and Development Executives, Shima and newcomer Lorraine. A fun filled evening which included trophy presentations, photo caption contest, a free buffet sponsored by Harrys Bar and to conclude the evening a lucky draw.

****BBAXN Men's Basketball Club - Recruiting Now****
BBAXN has provided the platform for many Men?s, Women, and Junior teams to be created including Comets, BBAXN Falcons, Globe Ballers, Gekkos, Lions, Royal Rebels, Mars, Falcons, BBAXN Hawks, BBAXN Phoenix, BBAXN Bulls, BBAXN Blazing Suns, BBAXN Warriors.
We are now preparing to create even more teams for BBAXN Saturday Afternoon League Season 4 and BBAXN Midweek League Season 4 both commencing in August 2006.
Once more the catalyst will be BBAXN?s Open Ball Session which have been held previously on June 4th 2005, 11th Sept 2006 and 12th Feb 2006.

Missed the deadline for Season 3 Men?s League or Season 2 Women?s League well don?t worry REGISTRATION FOR THE NEXT SEASON is LIVE and OPEN and BBAXN is already receiving enquiries.
All leagues will commence for Season 4 in August 2006
Register early to avoid disappointment league space is limited and priority is always given to those teams that register early.

****BBAXN A Truly Multi National League****
Lions-Compadres Basketball Club were founded during BBAXN very first open ball session in 2005. Lions had their best season in season 2 finishing in third place behind Gryphons and Globe Ballers with an impressive record of 13 - 3.
In season 3 Lions are sitting comfortably in third place with the leaders in their site.

Lions are a very unique as this team itself has players from 8 different nationalities including Cameroon, England, Italy, Australia, Singapore, Philippines, and Korea.
Indeed over 35 nationalities are represented within our leagues all united via their passion for basketball and love of sport.
BBAXN - The World In A Basketball League
****BBAXN Junior Training****
BBAXN structured training program for juniors is currently in progress and the next sessions will commence early July. To find out more please click HERE
BBAXN has changed the structure of the OPEN BALL away from the ?weekly pay as you go? format to be a structured training session with the same coach for an 8 week period.
As such each team member will train with the same 10-12 players each week allowing the players to develop together and the coach to build an understanding of the individual player?s strengths and weakness. The sessions will also include team offense and team defense, elements that we couldn?t previously include as our training was focused on individuals due to the uncertainty regarding which players would attend the session each week. BBAXN?s objective is to develop individual players into coordinated junior teams that are able to compete in a competitive league format.
